What kind of writer are you?

My bent is toward informed and pragmatic progressivism. I write columns about the workplace and economy professionally.

Why have you chosen to write?

Some of my most cherished learning derives from the transportative prose - and provocative insights - of my revered fiction authors. Writing is a natural outlet for me to share knowledge I glean and raise questions about gaps. It's a way of contributing to goodness.

What do you most like to write about?

Fiction that evokes thought, emotion and discussion is the genre I hope to transition into. I aspire to reach across genres and help readers of varied stripes unite where there may be common grounds.

Columnist and author, non-fiction. Always curious. Sometimes petrified. Currently in pre-writing phase of debut novel.
