Fall Colors Humber River Hike, Salmon Jumping & Canoe Adventure, right here in our City of Toronto.
Have you ever seen a Salmon Run before?
The salmon run is the time when salmon, which have migrated from the oceans & lakes, swim to the upper reaches of rivers where they give birth on river beds. The annual run is exciting to watch. The anglers on the Humber river have witnessed it over the years.
So join me on a Fall Colors hike through the Humber valley, beginning at Kings Mill Park. This is a guided 2.5 hour Guided hike and Salmon viewing social then we all get into our canoes and enjoy a two hour paddle on the Scenic lower Humber River in Fall Colours glory.
We meet at the Old Mill TTC Subway Station at 11am sharp. Don't leave the subway station just wait and we will all meet right inside the Old Mill TTC Subway Station. At 11:10am we will start our Hike. We will hike north up the Humber River Valley to the waterfalls where we should be able to see the salmon jumping up the falls. This is a must see, right here in our City of Toronto. We will hike to a number of the waterfalls.
We will then end this Fall Colours scenic hike in Kingsmill park where we will get into our canoes and enjoy a wonderful Fall Colours Guided scenic Humber River Canoe Adventure.
This trip is our goodbye summer / fall trip, hello winter.
