THANK YOU DAISY, I was having a rough week before this Algonquin trip and was a little nervous that the trip would just add to my rough week. Instead, the trip was a wonderful healing trip.

...in a word...AWESOME! We got to canoe, hike, swim and more. It was Camping 101 done in wonderful weather among some very warm, friendly and funny people. I would have loved to be a little closer to the water but I did get my swimming fix. Thank you all for adding to my growing stack of happy memories...the shared connection and your stories are priceless.

Are we sharing tents or can we each get our own tent.......except for those people who WANT to share? The question of portages........are these bathroom facilities? So are there showers and toilets or portables like on construction sites? I've never been camping without an RV so I don't know how this works.

    July 22, 2013

    • Toronto Adventures S.

      Hi Jennifer,

      August 6, 2013

    • Toronto Adventures S.

If you have your own tent then you can have your own tent. If not then you will share with other ladies on the trip., No portages planned, There is a wonderful toilet in a small building close to the tent site, We drive to warm showers each morning and evening. It is civilized

  • Miah

Is this a singles event and what age group should is expected?

    July 7, 2013

    • Toronto Adventures S.

No this is not a singles event. I would call it more of a social event for like minded, out-door loving, adventure people. I think that participants should be over 17 years old minimum and under 100 years old unless they are fit.
