Let's get a quick ride in this weekend! Meeting at Sunnyside Park and heading up the Humber Valley, we'll tackle the 12km of the rec trails at an easy-going pace suitable for all riders. Total ride is going to be 24km, let's give ourselves about two hours to complete it, including rest stop time. At this pace not only should riders of all levels be able to keep up with the group, but we'll be able to actually enjoy the beautiful scenery. We'll meet on the bike path that goes parallel to Lakeshore at the point where it meets Colborne Lodge Drive. http://maps.google.com/maps?f=d&source=s_d&saddr=&daddr=43.637578,-79.458897&hl=en&geocode=&mra=dme&mrcr=0&mrsp=1&sz=18&sll=43.637675,-79.45894&sspn=0.003921,0.006539&ie=UTF8&ll=43.637706,-79.459176&spn=0.007842,0.013078&t=h&z=17 I will email members who have RSVP'd Yes or Maybe a day before with my contact info. Sha nik, there is a parking lot just east of Parkside Dr between Lakeshore Rd and the actual lake. You can access it only if you're coming eastbound on Lakeshore BEFORE (ie west) of Parkside Dr. If that lot is full, you can park on Parkside Dr itself or in High Park and cycle down to the meeting spot.
