Anyone up for a nice ride along the humber trails down to the Toronto Islands?
Weather permitting, we'll meet in front of Old Mill Subway station at 10:00 am sharp and head south along the Humber trail to the Lake. We'll head along the Martin Goodman trail to the Toronto Island Ferry and cross to Hanlan's point, ending up at the Ward's Island Ferry. The Hanlan's point ferry leaves at 11:15, so we should be at the terminal no later than 11:00 am to secure tickets.
There is a detour along Lake Shore Boulevard sidewalk as Queen's Quay is under construction.
We'll split into two groups based on speed.
If you haven't biked in a while, or are shaking off the winter blahs, this is the perfect ride for you.
We will finish off at the Ferry docks with an optional lunch at Shoeless Joe's patio or Cocoberrys.
