Fish and chips at Hutch's on the Beach

Departing from the regular starting location for the weeknight Port Credit run, we'll go WAY past Port Credit on the Lake Shore to Hutch's on the Beach in Hamilton (just a wee bit past the Burlington skyway bridge). Fuel up on "healthy" snacks available from said greasy spoon and head back to TO.  The GO train from Burlington is an alternative for those who've bonked. Looking for a cruising speed of 28 to 33km/h. The route is approx 130km out&back.

Great ride everyone! I ran out of energy and got some cramps at 80k mark. Maybe we can try to go to Niagara next time :)

Anything worth trying on the beach strip?

I'll be waiting at Colborn and Waterfront at 8:45. We should gather at High Park, in my opinion.

We'll probably only leave the start point at 8:45, so we'll see you 'round 8:55.

Still haven't decided if I should bike all the way to the starting point from home (I'm in Scarborough, so this should add me some good 60km). Hope I won't bonk! \o/

Really want to go on this! But have some things to do in early afternoon. I'll see if I can push it to later.

    Anyone vegan going?

    May 14

I'm not vegan myself, but all vegans are very welcome to join. Note that Hutch's is a fairly standard greasy spoon joint, and I have no idea if their fry oil contains animal fats, or just how many of their menu items are vegan. You may want to bring a sandwich just in case; it'll still be a fun ride though! http://www.hutchsonth...
