15K Bike Ride & A Movie: Captain America Edition

This is the first edition of a Bike Ride & A Movie Summer series.
The ride will start at David Pecaut Square in the Entertainment District, with routes covering City Place-Fort York area, CNE, Martin Goodman Trail, Little Norway, Coronation Park, back up to the Entertainment District and a steady ride up to Bloor on Palmerston Ave.

Here's the link for the planned route:

After the ride, we will be parking our bikes to grab seats and take-out food for the movie. For those who decide to stay for the movie but not want to snack or grab food, it would be great if you can help save the seats for those who do want to quickly grab something to eat. As well, it might be a good idea to bring something to sit on between the grass and a sweater if it gets cool. It's noted that there might be a snack stand on premise:

I would love to come along for a ride. Not as interested in the movie. Can I just join for the ride component? I assume that the ride is free, right?

Hi Valerie, we would love to have you out with us, even if it's just the ride :)

All TBM rides are free unless otherwise noted. Some special events have a sign up fee, e.g. ride for heart.

Hi Anne, all the routes are on relatively flat plains. In exception to Simcoe. It starts off with a deep dip and rolls back up with very little pedal power involved. Actually very fun!

Riding on Palmerston heading North is a small incline compared to most other streets parallel to it. So hill wise, that really about it.

Hope that helps and that you can come out! To note as well, no one will be left behind.

I'll join. I'll bring my old bike and 1 or 2 locks. Free movie and $1 snacks sounds good to me!
