On Sunday, May 5th, beginning at 12:00 Noon we will be having a Buffet Style Brunch followed by the classic silent film, Sunrise: A Song of Two Humans at 1:30 PM. This will take place on the first level of the Central Bar located in Mirvish Village, just one block west of Bathurst Station. The total cost will be $10.00 including all taxes. Drinks and gratuities are extra.

Sunrise: A Song of Two Humans is an amazing work of art produced in 1927 that still stands up 86 years later. It has a compelling storyline and it uses innovative special effects and great cinematography for that time that holds your attention throughout the film.
It won an Academy Award for Unique and Artistic Production at the first Academy Awards in 1929. This was the first and only time this award was given.
Sunrise: A Song of Two Humans, considered by many to be the best silent film ever made has been called the Citizen Kane of the silent era. This film, directed by F.W. Murnau of Germany, and starring Janet Gaynor and George O’Brien is a must see for anyone that truly loves and appreciates great film.
