TERMS OF AGREEMENT

NO-SHOWS: There are groups that implement fees for all meetups and then there are groups that have a 3 strikes policy. A LOT OF EFFORT goes into organizing meetups, reservations are made and sometimes deposits are made. If you have been to one of my events (whether thru this group or another), you know that there are freebies, swag, discounts or surprises and whatever that is, takes coordination amongst many parties. Your respect and active participation is expected as a member of the TGM group.

If you have RSVP'd with a "YES", you are expected to show up. I understand if circumstances happen in the moment so I would appreciate a comment/message on the page with sufficient notice so the group is not waiting for anyone. Unfortunately, no refunds will be offered for missed/no shows. Refunds will be given only in the case if the organizer cancels an event / meetup.

The three strike rule applies here; not showing up when you've indicated otherwise or behaving inappropriately towards the "Organizer" or other group members will lead to removal/ban from the group.

PHOTOGRAPHY: By joining this group you consent to the use of your captured image (photo/video) at any meetup, to be used for promotional purposes only. Tagging will not be used and photos will not be shared with or sold to any third parties. Content will be shared via the meetup, facebook group and @gcs_chocosweet instagram pages only.

Welcome to Toronto Girlfriends Meetup!!

This is a group for ladies who are looking to meet other like-minded girlfriends that are interested in social events and exploring this fabulous city while making new friendships along the way! 

I am also the organizer of these meetup groups - Girlfriends, Chocolate & Sweet Things  and Females for Friendships so at times there may be a collaborative event. I always say, the more, the merrier.

Naturally, I felt this group had a similar purpose, and that is to be introduced to the NEW - whether it's food, people, conversation, topics, products, services, neighbourhoods, etc. It doesn't matter, as an experience is always different when great company is thrown into the mix. Whether you are new in town, a born Torontonian or looking to meet other social ladies in the city, this group is for you!
