What is your level of experience with Hadoop and related technologies?

hobby

What do you hope to gain by participating in the Toronto HUG?

learning and coding (code fests, pair programming, hackathons) meeting close to public transit (not out in Markham plz :)

Introduction

Yep, I was one of the 3 finalists in BigData University's Hadoop challenge. I used Java, Jaql, Groovy, and node.js to analyze, process, and present 5.2 million ocean carbon dioxide readings over the last 50+ years. You see, fish is my favourite food.
