Introduction
I am Benoit D'Incau. I am working as Solution Architecture for RBC IS and I am interested to increase my knowledge around big data.
What is your level of experience with Hadoop?

What Hadoop technologies (Hive, Pig, Hbase etc.) are you most interested in?
I would like to practice on the basics HDFS, Mareduce at the beginning and get more insight afterward into the related Hadoop project such as Avro, Cassandra, HBase, Hive, Pig and so forth.
What do you hope to gain by participating in the Toronto HUG?
I have already attended some conference on the topic and read some book and their are really conceptual which is really good to start. Now I would like to be more practical and put the concepts in application.
