What is your level of experience with Hadoop?
Newbie. Was able to get psuedo-clusters running from scratch. Havent been able to get a real cluster running.
What Hadoop technologies (Hive, Pig, Hbase etc.) are you most interested in?
Hive is great! Would like to learn Pig. Mahout is very promising, but very flaky.
What do you hope to gain by participating in the Toronto HUG?
Understand how people are using these technologies. Discuss and gian insight about architectures.
