Do you want to meet some of the other group members in a relaxed format? Then this is the event for you. This is a casual fun evening of pool. You do not need to know how to play pool or even hold a cue stick... there will be lots of people around to be able to give you some help and guidance. If you have never played pool before, then come on down and get some basics on how to play.
Tonight we're going to be going to The Crooked Cue on Bloor St. W in Etobicoke near the corner of Royal York Rd & Bloor. The Royal York subway station is just around the corner.
The Crooked Cue offers a relaxed, fun, and upscale environment with over 10,000 square feet of restaurant, billiards, and special event venue. This is not your average pool hall – it's an award winning design that has been featured on “Canada’s Top Pool Halls” on the “CBC” and “TSN”, the interior has hand-carved mahogany tables, cozy fireplaces and wing chair lounges.
Pool Playing Format
At some pool events, it's difficult to get a game because some players just keep playing game after game and never give up the table all evening. That never happens at our pool evenings. Our format is friendly and completely stress free.
We schedule you into a group of four people to play on a specific table and when your game is over, you get assigned to a different foursome on a different table.
This way you get to meet lots of friendly people, have lots of friendly conversations and you never have to force your way into a group of people already playing.
The cover charge of $10 includes playing pool on our reserved tables from 7:30 PM to 11:30 PM. You are responsible for your own bill for food and drink. Have as much as or as little to eat or drink as you wish, there is no minimum purchase requirement. See you there!
