We went to this Thai restaurant one year ago and those who attended are still talking about it. The food was excellent and there was lots of it. So it was time to go back for another waistline expanding evening!
Since the name of our restaurant is Phuket Paradise, I thought we might start off with a picture of Phuket Beach in Thailand before I move on to the details of the food itself! :-)
As usual, I have arranged for a 11-course lineup just for our group where you get to experience lots of different dishes. Here's our menu for the evening. You get to have all of the items below:
Vegetarian Lemongrass Soup
Cold Rice Paper Spring Roll
Green Mango Salad
Stir Fried Eggplant & Basil
Creamy Curry Chicken
Beef Pad Thai
Pineapple Special Fried Rice with Shrimp & Chicken
Fried Bananas with Ice Cream
Choice of Tea or Coffee.
This restaurant is located on the east side of Yonge St. half way between Steeles & Hwy 7, at the corner of Yonge St. & Centre St. It's in the same plaza as Starbucks.
There is a large parking lot behind the building. Entrance into the parking lot is off Thornhill Summit Drive. The restaurant has a rear door for entry from the parking lot. Parking is free.
If coming by bus, the York Region Transit bus numbers 77 & 99 run from Finch subway station and stop almost directly outside the restaurant.
The total cost of the dinner $30.00 ($23.45 + tax & tip). Please bring $30 in cash with you, I will be collecting it when you arrive.
All soft drinks, alcoholic drinks and specialty beverages are extra. Please settle your bill for your drinks directly with the servers.
I hope you will be able to join us and I look forward to seeing you there for some yummy Thai food. The staff at the restaurant have promised me that no one will go home hungry so elastic waistbands are recommended... as usual. Waddle waddle!
