Roy Thomson Hall
We are going again to Roy Thompson Hall for the Toronto Symphony Orchestra's performance of The Music of ABBA.
Back by popular demand, Finnish vocal ensemble Rajaton pays tribute to the '70s Swedish pop supergroup, ABBA. You'll hear all your favourite ABBA hits with orchestra: Mamma Mia, Take a Chance on Me, Dancing Queen, Does Your Mother Know, Gimme! Gimme! Gimme!, S.O.S, and many, many more!
Here's a sample of Rajaton doing an ABBA song with the Sydney Symphony Orchestra. Just click on the play button below.
We will be sitting as a group in sections R8 and L8. Every seat at the Roy Thompson Hall is a good seat. We are especially close to the orchestra stage sitting above it.
Our special group discounted ticket price is $36.75 ea. This is roughly a 16% discount from the regular price of $43.75 ea. All taxes and ticket/box office fees are included.
Pre-Show Drinks & Social
We will be meeting for dinner and/or drinks at Shoeless Joe's at 276 King St. W before the show, starting at 6:00 PM. We have the private room at the back of the restaurant. Reservation is under "Sash". There is no requirement for you to order anything, you are welcome to just drop in any time between 6:00 and 7:30 PM and pick up your show ticket there.
If you do not join us at our pre-show social at Shoeless Joe's, I will be in front of the box office windows of Roy Thompson Hall from 7:35 to 7:50 PM, wearing a large yellow name tag with my name on it.
At 7:50 PM, I will go inside and get seated. If you arrive at the theatre after 7:50 PM, please show your ID to the staff at the box office window and they will give you your tickets.
