2-Day Trip -- Cleveland: Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, Live Music, Aquarium & Tour

Do you like music? If so, this is the trip for you!
We will be visiting the mecca for music fans everywhere -- the world famous Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in Cleveland, OH. But let's face it, we can't go to Cleveland and visit just the Hall of Fame so here's what else you get to enjoy in this activity packed 2-day weekend trip:
We will be staying overnight in the top rated Springhill Suites by Marriott, ranked as one of the top 10 hotels in Cleveland area.
On Saturday night we will be having dinner at a restaurant that can truly be called a Cleveland institution. This restaurant has been serving authentic Polish and East European Cuisine in Cleveland since 1929! And while we're enjoying our dinner, we will also get to enjoy live East European music. Polka anyone?
After dinner we will visit one of the famous blues lounges in Ohio that's been showcasing local jazz and blues musicians since 1959. We will have some drinks, chill, chit-chat and listen to live music.
On Sunday morning we will have a deluxe hot breakfast at our hotel and then head out to check out the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame. After our museum visit, we will have lunch at one of the largest Hard Rock Cafes in North America.... no surprise since it's located so close to the Hall of Fame and gets so many music fans.
After lunch we will spend some time exploring the amazing new Cleveland Aquarium. As most of you know, usually when we visit aquariums, we are on the outside and the fish are inside the tanks. The Cleveland Aquarium has reversed that concept and here, the fish are on the outside and we walk through a glass tunnel with the water all around us. Should be very interesting to say the least.
What's Included
In summary here is what your trip includes:
- Round trip transportation on a deluxe highway motor coach equipped with a bathroom.
- Overnight accommodations at the SpringHill Suites Hotel.
- Admission to the Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame.
- Admission to the Greater Cleveland Aquarium.
- Guided bus tour of Cleveland.
- Hot deluxe breakfast at the hotel.
- Lunch at the Hard Rock Cafe.
- All taxes and tips.
On Saturday night we will be visiting a famous East European restaurant for dinner followed by a visit to a blues lounge for drinks. Cost of dinner and drinks is not included in the tour price and each person is responsible for their own dinner and drink bill.
Trip Price
No surcharge for single occupancy!! If you are travelling by yourself, I guarantee to match you up with a roommate and you get the double occupancy price.
Of course if you wish to have a private room to yourself, by all means you may do so and pay the Single occupancy rate. Other options are Triple occupancy (if three of you are travelling together and wish to share a room) and Quad occupancy (if four of you are travelling together and wish to share a room).
- Double occupancy: $245 per person
- Single occupancy: $298 per person
- Triple occupancy: $227 per person
- Quad occupancy: $218 per person
Payment Method
The best way to pay is online through this site. Simply RSVP to the event and pay online. If you prefer to pay using an alternate method, I am happy to accept almost any other method of payment including cash, cheque, email money transfer, bank wire transfer and money orders.

Travel Documents
US Immigration requires that all travellers MUST have a passport. No exceptions! Please make sure that you have the appropriate permission and documentation to travel to the USA.
If you are denied entry into the USA, we will leave you at the border and you will need to make your own arrangements to come back to Toronto from Fort Erie. No refund will be provided. So please, please, please... make sure you have the appropriate visas and meet the requirements for entry into the USA. Otherwise, we WILL leave you behind!!

Fantastic trip. Good company, lotsa laughs and a great time in Cleveland. Really enjoyed Saturday dinner at Sokolowskis and the piano bar afterwards. Sunday at the RRHOF, followed by lunch at Hard Rock Cafe. All in all, a great time. Thanks to Sash for organizing!

Cleveland rocked! What an awesome weekend it was and it all flew by so quickly. I would have loved to have spent more time there. Trips organized by Sash just keep getting better.... Hi Flo, the restaurant on Sat night is quite inexpensive and your whole meal should be well under $20, more likely between $12 and $15. The drinks at the lounge afterwards are priced the same as in bars in Toronto and your expense will depend entirely on how much you consume.

Refunds offered if:
- the Meetup is cancelled
- the Meetup is rescheduled
- you can cancel at least 7 day(s) before the Meetup
Additional notes: Full refund if you email me to cancel by 9AM Saturday November 10 2012. No refunds after that time but your spot is transferable to anyone else and I will help sell your spot to someone on the waiting list, if there is a waiting list.
