THE END OF THE NATION STATE: CAUSE AND EFFECT UPON THE SECURITY OF THE CITIZENS OF THE UNITED STATES
The Nation State is an institution that has served the western world well since its inception in the mid 1600s in Europe. This method of managing international affairs and internal populations has been weakened for decades as a result of a number of trends that can be explained but may not be stoppable. As a result our very way of life has become threatened. Our security and economic affairs are changing rapidly and as citizens we have an obligation to make informed decisions. This presentation will offer background and a very brief state of affairs in order to place recent events into proper context.
A version of this presentation was last provided to a packed audience of professionals from around the county assembled at the Cuyahoga Library in downtown Cleveland on 17 October 2012
Guests - $3 (coffee and pastries are served)
