THE LORAIN COUNTY EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT DEPARTMENT
We’ve been deluged with news stories about Ebola and possible terrorist attacks in recent weeks. We’ve also seen areas devastated by floods, tornados and hurricanes in recent years. Have you ever wondered how Lorain County would respond to these types of emergencies?
Join us and find out from Alice Weber, Operations Manager of the Lorain County. Emergency Management Department. Alice is a 25 year veteran of the department and handles a wide array of training activities and coordination with the County’s First Responders. She also handles many of the administrative duties required and would work closely with the Department’s Director in an emergency situation. In her spare time she’s finishing a Bachelors Degree from the University of Maryland in Emergency Management.
She will discuss the mission, organization and responsibilities of the Department and it’s coordination with First Responders.
