About Totem Lake Neighborhood Association

Welcome to the Totem Lake Neighborhood Association's Meetup site. In addition to our "regular" website (http://www.totemlaken..., we are using MeetUp.com a public calendar and to facilitate community input. Folks who "beome members" of the Totem Lake MeetUp site will be notified of upcoming meetings, agendas automatically. A great PLUS, too, is that brief questionaires can be added to our notices for easier community input and comments.

The Mission of the Totem Lake Neighborhood Association is to maintain and improve the unique residential and commercial characteristics of the Totem Lake Neighborhood, with objectives to include:

Promote safe and adequate pedestrian, bicycle and vehicular traffic, and traffic calming measures
Protect the wetlands, stream, wildlife habitat, and other sensitive areas minimize noise, water, and pollution.
Promote and support parks and open spaces
Monitor and inform residents of changes proposed by the City of Kirkland that could affect residents,
Consider and study other neighborhood concerns identified by residents.
Provide lines of communication between residents and the City of Kirkland
