NEW TS Who Takes Care of You?? Hints &Tips for Parents of children who have TS.

Chris McNeill Bivins has a B.S. in Psychology from the University of Wisconsin - Madison, an M.S. in Child Life and Family Centered Care from Wheelock College in Boston, is a nationally certified Child Life Specialist and is working to complete a trauma certification. She has worked with children and families dealing with a wide variety of concerns in Children's Hospitals, hospice programs, under child protection orders in the court system and in 2012 she founded, MediCoping LLC – a business dedicated to helping children and families understand and cope with often complex medical issues. Chris is the co-author of several articles and a textbook, and teaches seminars for parents and professionals as well as students with disabilities at NWTC. Chris utilizes her knowledge of medicine, anatomy, child development, stress & coping, therapeutic & expressive play activities, and bibliotherapy to teach children and family members successful and healthy ways to understand and cope with difficult situations.
