Have you lived here for a while but never had the chance to get out and see the things and places in Chicago that visitors from other cities have seen? New in town and want an excuse to check some "must-see" things off the list? Just looking for something fun to do but didn't really want to do it all by yourself?

Be a tourist in our own city! I had always spent the time to check out other city's offerings when I traveled on business or for pleasure, and about 10 years ago, thought, "gee this is fun" when I was out and about showing around some of my guests from out-of-town. Since then have made it my goal to check out Chicagoland--not only as a native, but from the perspective of a visitor as well...

I started this group because I came across another group like this and it seemed like there was a world of possibilities--only they never even had ONE event planned!!! (so sad)

There are a ton of things that I want to do, and I thought it would be more fun to do with a group.

Some of the upcoming fun to expect? Tours... via boat, bus, or foot-walking tours.. Architectural tours, ghost and paranormal tours, visits to cultural events, see the city 's plethora of world class museums, wander through her ethnic 'neighborhoods', visit the zoos, catch the tunes, taste the cuisines...

See the fireworks from navy pier, or from aboard a dinner cruise... Check out the city's best pizzas, BBQ, brew pubs, dance clubs, gin joints, etc... You get the picture!

Anyway, I look forward to doing it with new found friends--YOU! Come out and join us in our lil adventures as we scope out the cool finds this World-Class City and her surrounding areas have to offer while creating new friendships along the way.
