If you missed this film at last year's Full Frame documentary film festival & have been waiting anxiously to see it (this describes me), then join us for this free screening at the Carolina Theater in Durham. There's been a lot of great buzz about this film; 30-plus years into the AIDS epidemic, it may be easy to forget (or overlook, if you are not old enough to remember) the indifference, lack of compassion, ignorance and prejudices that first surrounded this mysterious new disease that mainly seemed to affect a very specific population. Join us for this screening to be inspired by (and learn from) what a small group of dedicated activists can do if they put their passions and minds to it. I plan to take notes;). The film starts at 7:30, and does not require a ticket. Let's try to meet between 7-7:15pm so we can get seats.
