Traditional Moroccan Salads

Are you looking for some new veggie and healthy dishes to add to your rotation?

Do you like to try new flavors and spices?

Do you want to learn to make some traditional Moroccan appetizers that just so happen to be completely vegan?

Does the idea of some fire in the kitchen excite you (or scare you and make you curious at the same time)?

If you answered yes to any of these questions, this is the meetup for you! I'll be showing you how to make some delicious Moroccan appetizers, or mezze, that I learned to make from my grandmother. While they aren't specifically labelled as "vegan", they are completely animal product free.

We'll be making the following dishes:

Zaalouk: Roasted Eggplant and Tomato Dip

Fire-Roasted Red Peppers with Garlic

Moroccan Carrot Salad with Garlic and Herbs

I'll also have pita for dipping!

The cost for the event will cover food costs. No more than $10 per person. If you're interested in learning how to make other appetizers like Hummus or Israeli Salad, let me know and we can either sub them out, extend the class, or create a new meetup!
