Join our new Traditional Malaysian Dance class and you will have the opportunity to learn a unique art form, born in the hart of South East Asia. Nisah teaches all levels of dance, in a relaxed informal atmosphere, with traditional home cooked food, and a colorful community of friends.
Nisah recently moved to New York from Kuala Lumpur Malaysia. She has spent her life as a traditional dancer working for the Malaysian government and Tv3, for such Television programs as Malaysian Idol and "siti nurhaliza".
Nisah has a broad range of influences, including Traditional Balinese, and Belly Dance, to Tribal, Salsa and Hip Hop. She has been teaching classes in Malaysia and Singapore for over 5 years and is excited to bring her culture born from the oldest rain-forests on the planet and past down through her people for thousands of years to New York.
