This hike is rated EASY.
Come on out for a hike at Lookout Mountain! This trek will take us around the #308 trail in a nice big loop. There are definitely some uphill climbs, so while it's rated easy, first-timers will have to work it a bit. Bring lots of water, snacks, sun protection and a camera!
DISTANCE: 2.3 miles roundtrip
ELEVATION GAIN: <200 ft but more than once
TRAIL STYLE: Loop
DURATION: 1.5 hours
DOGS: Yes, if leashed.
FACILITIES: Bathroom and water fountain

DIRECTIONS: From the intersection of Cave Creek Rd and Sharon Dr, go West on Sharon to 18th St, head North on 18th St until it ends. The park entrance is on your right hand side. Google maps may lead you astray especially if you approach from the north, so follow these directions as you get close!
