Hike Papago Park with optional FREE walk through the Botanical Gardens after

Come join me and have some fun at Papago.
Dogs are NOT ALLOWED at the Botanical Gardens so please leave your pet at home unless you do not plan to attend the after hike activity.
We will hike the double butte trail along with climbing around and on the buttes. It is up to you how much you want to climb. You're encouraged to bring a camera and must bring at least 2 liters of water per person and sturdy hiking footwear.
If you want you may join me after the hike for a trip to the Botanical Gardens which is FREE from 1:00 pm - 8:00 pm. We will head over after the hike approximately 5:00. Then back to Hole in the Rock for sunset.
This hike is cross posted with Phoenix 2-Hour. Please only sign up on one, it is less confusing for me ;)
DISTANCE: 3 miles roundtrip
ELEVATION GAIN: 250 ft
DURATION: 3 1/2 hours includes optional activities
DOGS: Yes, if leashed.

DIRECTIONS: Folllow the google map link above. If coming from 202 to Priest to Gavin Parkway, turn left at light (NOT towards the zoo which requires a right turn at this light). immediately turn right to the first ramada. This can be confusing, please feel free to call or text if you have trouble finding me.

Ah yes, but hindsight is wonderful. Had I know this hike would grow so fast without watering I might have put a limit and a waitlist. Now I'm in damage control;-)

I'm not sure what is happening. This hike is scheduled for 3:00 on my computer but it says 4:00 on my phone app and I think it has something to do with the time change that we don't celebrate. So now that everyone is completely confused, the hike begins at 3:00 PM AZ time.
