We'll be hiking the McDowells this week from the Lost Dog Wash trailhead. Our route will take us through beautiful isolated desert trails. A sudden vista at the Taliesin Outlook opens to unique views of the city of Scottsdale, Frank Lloyd Wright's home and Taliesin West.
We'll stop along the way and take a longer break at the top. You're encouraged to bring snacks, sun protection of some sort and must bring at least 2+ liters of water per person and sturdy hiking footwear.
