Join us for a terrific canyoneering hike along Cibecue Creek to an 40-foot waterfall! Along the way you'll be enchanted with gorgeous scenery and the cool flowing water. You will be hiking in and out of water from the beginning of this hike to the end. Expect to get wet while you're hiking up to at least your knees or more! Bring spare clothes to change after the event, along with lunch, snacks, swimming gear, poles, sturdy water shoes, sun gear, and of course drinking water (at least 2+ liters).
A tribal permit is needed to hike here! You can buy your permit online at: http://wmat.toffsystems.com. You will need to create a username/password. Click on Special Use Permit, Black River/Salt River, $15.00. Put the first day as July 13th and the 2nd day as July 13 as well, and it will only charge you $15.00. Please take care of permit before the day of hike, so there is no extra waiting! I.e. don't plan to pick up your permit the day of the event somewhere.
