This hike is rated EASY.
Join me for an introductory hike from the Gateway trailhead of the McDowells. This hike will take us on a journey through short parts of seven different trails! We will combine parts of the Equestrian Bypass, 104th St Trail, Levee Trail, Crossover Trail, Gateway Loop, Horseshoe Trail, and Desert Park Trail into a nice loop. This will give you a quick flavor on the preserve while staying on easy and generally flat parts of the trails. You're encouraged to bring snacks, a camera, and must bring at least 2 liters of water per person and sturdy hiking footwear.
