This hike is rated INTERMEDIATE
Join us for an exploratory hike along the 1A trail from the Dreamy Draw recreation center. The history of the Dreamy Draw area is that it was once a mercury mine and there are left over mine shafts. We are exploring a known area were mines shafts have been seen before. We'll be treated to beautiful nighttime views and get in a great hike. There are ups and downs with loose rocks so be careful. We will go at a moderate pace. You're encouraged to bring snacks, a camera and must bring at least 2+ liters of water per person and sturdy hiking footwear. You should also bring a flashlight and/or a headlamp as we'll be in the dark during this hike.
Once again this is an exporatory hike. So if you are uncomfortable not being sure where you are going please do not attend.
