Come out and enjoy the beautiful Dixie Mine Trail! This remote, gentle, and flat trail makes an easy but lengthy stroll through the McDowell Mountain Regional Park. We'll explore the mine area and have beautiful views along the way. After a break we'll return back the same trail. You're encouraged to bring a camera, sun protection of some sort, and must bring at least 2+ liters of water per person and sturdy hiking footwear.

There is a parking lot just before the gate on the left side where we will meet. Space is limited so carpooling is encouraged. There is a short walk from the parking lot to the actual trailhead inside the residential community. Note there is a $2.00 walk-in fee per person for the county park system. Bring exact change.
