Come join us for a hike up the Backside of North Mountain! Trust me, it's better than it sounds... :-) We'll start at the Visitor Center and enter the preserve via trail #100. Heading south we'll encounter a seldom used and unmarked trail that ascends up to the summit, all of the climbing is packed into this portion and it's pretty steep. Once there we'll enjoy the views from atop, then we'll come back down the service road and head back via the #101 connector to the trailhead. You're encouraged to bring snacks, cameras, and must bring at least 2+ liters of water per person and sturdy hiking footwear.
