Sunday morning hike at Dreamy Draw

This hike is rated INTERMEDIATE. This is a joint event with the Phoenix (2-hour) Beginner Hikers.
Come out for a Sunday morning hike at Dreamy Draw! We'll do part of the #100 trail then loop around the 1A and the VOAZ loop which is very scenic. This is the "4 bench" hike since we pass 4 benches along the way. There is quite a bit of climbing but we'll take it at a moderate pace and take breaks along the way. Many of the trails are quite rocky (just like all these mountain ranges around here) so you're encouraged to have sturdy hiking footwear. Bring snacks and a camera, too.
DISTANCE: 4 miles roundtrip
ELEVATION GAIN: Several hundred ft
DURATION: 2 hours
DOGS: Yes, if leashed.

DIRECTIONS: AZ Route 51 to exit 7 - Northern Ave. Head east on Northern Ave and you'll immediately enter the park. Continue on the winding access rd until you reach the parking lot.

Wow, we did about 4.5 miles with an elevation again of 515 ft!! (Thanks for tracking, Steven, and thanks for the photos, Lonnie!) Great hike with a great group. Thanks everyone for coming out for a Sunday morning hike!
