Introduction
Beginner to intermediate hiker, I moved to Arizona about 2 1/2 years ago, and I'm looking to get back into some hiking as the weather cools down. I enjoy hiking in the Phoenix area, but also hiked in the Sedona, Payson, and Flagstaff areas as well.
We like to make hiking a social activity. Who might you bring with you on your next hike to share the fun?
Not sure, depends on who might want to go.
What's your favorite trail/place to hike?
Several places I like to hike - Dreamy Draw, Lookout Mountain, Shaw Butte, Thunderbird Park, Red Rock State Park, Oak Creek Canyon, my local favorite would likely be Lookout Mountain or Thunderbird Park, favorite up north is Red Rock State Park
Would you be willing to lead a hike?
Yes, depends on location and time, I live in North Phoenix, so hikes around Lookout Mountain, or Thunderbird Park in Glendale are ones that I'd be comfortable leading depending on the trail, and experience level.
Do you have a particular hiking goal?
Looking at it as a form of exercise to help me lose some weight. I've gone on hikes up to 6 miles (out and back) so I'd like to further my endurance.
Does your profile picture clearly show your face as required by our group policies? (I.e. it's not your dog, your children, a cartoon, a nature scene, a mask, the back of your head, random group shots, and especially not a blurry tiny photo, etc.)
