I hike now and then with the Meetup Beginning Hiking Group. I see that your group has an ealier evening hike..sounds good.

Good group, friendly. w Some of the people want a get together so friendship can be bridged. Excellent thought. Love the 2 minature horses. Papago park is a good hike for beginners. I enjoyed the easy hike for a good walk. Luckily the weather held out for us. It would be nice to have some phone numbers as we looked for the ramada and could not locate the group. We did not realize the park was on both left and right side of the rode.

Desert Ridge is probably better. Do you think 9:15 is early enough. I know the trail is at 32nd st and Carefree Hwy so it should not take that long to get there from DR . I have never been on this trail but that is what I am trying to acheive this year is to go on every scheduled trail that I have not done.

Ann, do you know how far this is from 32nd street and Carefree. Maybe further west then I thought. I tried to find the QT but not being very successful
