I enjoyed our trail riding what a great group and a large one at that! We can't control mother nature when she rears her ugly head. Then ya have to take the good with the bad.

Disorganized, the staff didn't seem aware of what our group package included. Would like to have facilities nearby and wasn't prepared as far as food went because I thought all meals could be purchased. The biggest thing I was hoping for was group rides and getting to have other people to ride with, seems like people just hung with the friends they came with. I will second the lack of respect that others had in the wee morning hours. Some kid was cracking a bull whip at 12:30 am and no parents in sight to stop it.

Could have been better planned. Also, I must add that between kids running thru the camp at all hours of the night, and the people who got into a cussing and screaming fight, I did not get any sleep the two nights l was there. I was raised with better manners, can't say that for some who were there.

We just dropped off a nice load of wood yesterday for our bonfire, going to be fun!
If anyone has Corn Hole boards feel free to bring them, I'm bringing mine. Also someone asked, feel free to bring any tack and stuff to sell or trade outside your trailer.

Hey Scott what do we do if the weekend is a total rain out?
    Rain chances are going up

    August 28, 2012

    • Scott

Business as usual. Not expecting much rain right now 20-40% chance Sat. Doesn't mean it will rain the entire day. Sunday/Monday look amazing. So we will proceed as normal. I know Loretta Lynn's is still having the concerts and all of their functions as normal. Little rain never hurt anyone ;) just hunker down till it blows over then resume having fun!

Hey yall!!! I'm not going to be able to attend as my mare is being delivered on the 1st or 2nd, but I still want to go to the bonfire on Sunday night!!! Please let me know time - my cabin is in Lobelville (about 15 min. away). I'd like to try and at least make it for the bonfire to meet everyone!

Hey Julie sorry to hear that! No problem at all myself and many others will have their trucks unhitched. I'm forever giving people rides to chow, or the bath house etc. We may have a golf cart too, not sure on that yet. But everything you could ever need is available there on the ranch, it's like a mini town

The LL organized ride accepts riders on a daily fee if you want to stay longer than Sunday.

Hey Scott - My new mare is being delivered on the 25th - so excited!! At this time, I have not found a trailer yet, so I might not be able to attend unless I can find someone who is coming from the Milan area and is willing to give us a ride (I'm working on it as we speak). If I can't get all the details together, I'd still like to meet everyone. My cabin is in Lobelville, so I'd be really close and would still like to at least come to the bonfire on Sunday evening if that would be OK!!???

Would love to have been able to come to the Labor Day weekend at Loretta Lynn's. But I'll have to look for the next day ride as I have other horses and animals to care for.

I had never had my mare on a picket line before and she is very hormonal and can act up! I thought it would be a nightmare the first time! When I tied her up on a picket line she was great every time. Now I have one set up on my farm and picket them. It's not as bad as you may think!

Wish this was ANY weekend except Labor Day weekend...would love to come.

    August 11, 2012

  • Scott

You should bring a picket line, if you need help setting it up just let me know! See you soon

    August 10, 2012

  • Scott

By anyone if you mean me, then yes lol. You most certainly can bring some panels if you'd like. We have run of the campground section we are in. But we'd also be happy to help you setup your picket as well, just bring a long sturdy rope. Panels are fine too though. Let me know if you need anything

Just spoke with them actually.. but the campground isn't creek or river front, and with this heat people like to float and cool off during the day
