Where and when do you like to ride? More importantly, how would you rate your current skill level (beginner, intermediate, expert)?
OCTR Meetup group isn't responsible for you, you are responsible for yourself. Operating a motorized vehicle off-road is inherently dangerous, as are any outdoor events. You agree to release OCTR Meetup from any liability. Must answer "YES" to join.
Hello and welcome to OCTR !! Our objective is to have fun and make new friends while enjoying the outdoors. We are all about family-friendly off-road fun !!
Most of our runs are trail-rated "easy" to "moderate" & can usually be done on a stock OHV. All varieties of green-sticker ATVs & bikes, UTVs (side-by-sides), red-sticker bikes & street-licensed dual sports are welcome - Your OHV must be equipped with a USFS-approved spark arrestor for our runs.
Our rides consist ofsingle day & weekend trips to local off road areas to explore & enjoy the beautiful scenery around Southern California. We try to have at least one or two events a month plus taking part in organized street-legal dual sport rides. In addition, we attend off-road related expos, shows & races (as a group whenever practicle).
We invite and encourage our members to help plan and promote our off-road rides, runs and events. Feel free to post a suggested ride or event on the Message Board and one of our organizers will try to get it on calendar - as long as there is an open date and it doesn't conflict with a previously planned OCTR event. Check back often to see what trips & runs are scheduled.
We try to have fun, enjoyable & enlightening trips for any level of vehicle or rider. All levels of experience welcome. If you're a beginner or just want to improve your off road skills, any of our more experienced drivers should always be available to help with tips, suggestions and coaching (as needed).
If you've ever wondered "what's over that hill?" or "where does that trail go?", now is your chance to find out!Join US & be a part of a group that will challenge riders of all ages & skill levels.
