North&South Ridge Trail Run (14 mi, 2000 ft elev. gain), Chino Hills SP, Brea

The North&South Ridge Trail Run is a 14 miles loop with a total elevation gain of 2,000 feet. It is a perfect combination of single track trails and dirt roads with lots of elevation gain on both sides of the Telegraph Canyon. If you would like to participate, but you are not quite up yet for the challenge, you can take an alternative route and take Telegraph Road back which will make this a 13 mile trail run with "only" 1,700 feet of elevation gain (similar to our North Ridge Loop Trail Run).

For the North&South Ridge Combo Trail Run, we will meet at the most eastern parking lot in the Carbon Canyon Regional Park ( view map ): After the park entrance (don't forget to bring $5 for the entrance fee or to buy an annual pass for $55) take a left and follow the road all the way to the end (past the tennis courts).

From the Carbon Canyon Regional Park parking lot we will run along the road (about 1/4 mile) over to the Chino Hills State Park. The route will follow these trails: North Ridge - Mc Dermont Trail to Four Corners - Bovinian Delight Trail - South Ridge Trail to Rimcrest Park Entrance - Easy Street - Telegraph Canyon Trail back to the start.

This meetup starts at 8:00 am sharp! Please call if you are running late or if you can't find it:[masked] 1005. Please bring correct running shoes and apparel, enough water, sunscreen/hat, snacks and attitude. Please know your own limits!
