Training Run #1 for the Chino Hills Trail Run Series 2012 (10K or 10 Miler)

The Chino Hills Trail Run Series is back for 2012 ... and so are the training runs! TrailRunner is the official organizer of the training runs for the Chino Hills Trail Run Series  which will be held again in 2012 in the beautiful Chino Hills State Park and offer a 10K/10 Miler (March 10), 15 Miler (March 31), 20 Miler (April 7), Half-Marathon, Marathon or 50K (November 3).

To find out more about the Chino Hills Trail Run Series and/or to sign up for one of the races, please visit: http://www.runchinohills.com

Like last year, training runs (free of charge!) will be held throughout the year to help you with your training and preparation for the race series. New this year is that the training runs will follow the exact same route as the race courses!

All levels of runners are welcome to join these training runs. Do not worry about your speed ... The course will be marked with ribbons and we will have a sweeper at the back to make sure that no one gets left behind. Cold drinks and some snacks will be waiting for you at the finish!

Even if you don't plan on participating in any of the races, you are welcome to join us!

Please bring correct running shoes and apparel, enough water, sunscreen/hat, snacks and attitude. Know your own limits!

I'm surprised by the level of growth I've seen since becoming an organizer, it's given me more confidence in my abilities.
