Like last year, training runs (free of charge!) will be held throughout the year to help you with your training and preparation for the race series. New this year is that the training runs will follow the exact same route as the race courses!
Our second training run is a 15 mile run!
All levels of runners are welcome to join these training runs. Do not worry about your speed ... The course will be marked with ribbons and we will have a sweeper at the back to make sure that no one gets left behind. Cold drinks and some snacks will be waiting for you at the finish!
Even if you don't plan on participating in any of the races, you are welcome to join us!
Please bring correct running shoes and apparel, enough water, sunscreen/hat, snacks and attitude. Know your own limits!
Parking / Start
We will meet at the most eastern parking lot in the Carbon Canyon Regional Park ( view map ): After the park entrance (don't forget to bring $5 for the entrance fee or to buy an annual pass for $55) take a left and follow the road all the way to the end (past the tennis courts).

I will be marking the course for this training race. Fred will be there to start the run at 8am. Let me know if you are interested in joining me early in the morning at 6:30am. At this time of the day it's very peaceful out there in the Chino Hills State Park, but I would appreciate some company!
