Ender's Game The Movie

Buy your ticket now!

At long last the "movie that couldn't be made" is coming to the big screen.

Six year old Ender Wiggin is recruited by the International Fleet to train as a commander in the war against the Formics, an alien race from far away who've declared war on, and nearly destroyed the Human race.  As part of his training Ender leads children in mock battles.  Or are they?

Ender's Game is considered science fiction for people who don't like science fiction.  A very human story and highly character driven, Ender's Game has received both the Nebula and the Hugo awards for science fiction writing.  The author of the book Orson Scott Card has often said that Ender's Game could never be filmed as the story takes place in Ender's head, but years of attempts and many re-writes later Card believes they may have captured the books essence on film.

If you are a fan of science fiction you probably already know this story and are as excited as I am to see it.  If you aren't a fan of science fiction, this may just be the story that changes your point of view, either way why not join me in seeing Ender's Game.

Details: My ticket is for the RPX theater at Regal Cinemas in Newington, 8PM showing.

I'm going to aim for 7:30 since I live 35 minutes away in good conditions and the visibility is bad in the rain.

I am tired after watching the Red Sox win! Thank you for hosting, and I will catch the movie on the weekend.

I've read the book twice. I'm not a scifi geek by any means, but if the movie is half as good as the book, it will be awesome!

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
