I have lived in the area for a few years but work from a home office and travel a lot for work so haven't had the chance to meet a lot of local people. Would love to attend some events in the area.
Dining out, live music/dancing, festivals, art and cultural events, hiking, kayaking, book clubs etc.
I am more comfortable one on one and am more shy approaching a group who already all know each other.
beach picnic in the summer
Rock, techno, bands like REM, Pearl Jam, zydeco, blues, bluegrass
To find out about activities in the area and to expand my circle of friends since many of my friends are married etc.
Linsay welcome to the group. We are all about providing a fun, inexpensive and safe place for singles (in the 30 to 60 age group) to meet in a comfortable atmosphere. Our three Meetup groups have over 1300 members, this along with 19 years of extensive advertising means each week there will be new singles for you to meet. Hope to see you at a party. Dave
Lindsay sorry I cant make it tomorrow night but hopefully next sat night for the old bastards enjoyed meeting you wed on our weekly walk. talk to u soon
Hi Linsay, sorry my plans have changed won't be able to make it to Riverworks for a bite to eat before the dance. See you at the dance
Have you found someone to share a campsite with at Pawtuckaway yet? I am looking to share one with someone.
Hi Linsay, Lunch sounds great, can't wait to sample food that might be like Life Alives' and a lot closer to home. I'm not sure of my schedule for sure but I will pencil in Monday, looks like great weather and I really enjoy Exeter. I can just never get over there before all the stores close! Let's play it by ear except for Tuesday. [masked] - I will let you know early if it has to be another day (I'm not always given a lot of notice for when I have to go to work)
Hi Lindsay, Just discovered the trails there. Great idea.
Really good to meet you at the Rock N Rib fest. Hope to see you at future Meetups. I was thinking of organizing a Meetup for people who work from home. Maybe a mid-week lunch once a month. So many of us work virtually and I think I could get a pretty good crowd
