Lunch at Garbo's Lobster Truck!

Sorry for the late notice but our twitter account is paying off! Lobster Rolls...Lunch....Nuff said.

This is a one of a kind trailer that rolls around Austin serving some of the freshest lobster rolls imaginable. The owner, Heidi Garbo’s family runs lobster traps in Maine so each day they overnight her fresh lobster for her rolls.
The lobster is served two ways. The first is the Maine which is served cold with mayo and celery. The second is Connecticut style which is served warm with a lemon tarragon butter. I can speak on behalf of the Connecticut style, which was absolutely delicious. On top of the lobster being mouthwatering and fresh beyond belief, the bread made the roll.

I know where I'll be next Wednesday lunch;-)

Lobster bisque was a bit decadent (that's a good thing). The whole meal deal included the lobster roll, chips, awesome potatoe salad and a drink. Way cheaper and a better value than back East.

I suggest you hit this trailer up if you get a chance. An excellent lunch only gets better with a nap afterwards!

Oh Hells yeah!!! Reminds me of Redhook
Lobster pound in new york. I prefer the Maine style. I'm assuming she uses Nelson rolls basted with drawn butter and lightly toasted.

Every Wednesday they are located in the Arboretum area. Between the two office towers.
