Patrizi's at the Vortex/Butterfly Bar

Nic Patrizi, chef and owner of the successful food trailer The Jalopy, opened Patrizi's bringing savory Italian cuisine to Austin. The trailer officially opened in May and is located at the Butterfly Bar and Vortex. This is really a reopening of sorts as Patrizi's was owned and operated by his family in Beaumont Texas for 50 years. He is using his family recipes making pastas, sauces and ricotta in house. The trailer itself was decorated by 30 local artists who were given free creative rein. Patrizi's menu offers vegetarian options and half portions.

The Vortex/Butterfly Bar has a great outdoor patio with plenty of seating if memory does serve me correctly.

Killer food. Those that didn't make it, missed out. This trailer is worth getting out to.

Unfortunately, I have to bow out. Too bad - this place sounds tasty...

Eh, I'm low on insulin; can't swing this. Disappointment abounds... I was really looking forward to some pasta. Once I get more insulin, I'll be in.

Looks interesting, I've not done traditional Italian at a trailer before.

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.

Henry, started Reno Motorcycle Riders
