try out two trailers, support the troops, and share some stories

What better way to start your Saturday night, then tasting the food from Love Balls and Greek Original Gyros, and then followed with a USO-inspired burlesque show.

Love Balls is Japanese-inspired fried or grilled octopus balls (they have mushroom-stuffed for those that are adverse to the idea) and mochi ice cream (fusion confection of rice cake and ice cream). Don't ask questions, just shove the balls in your mouth and enjoy!

Greek Original Gyros needs no introduction. You got your gyros, greek salad, dolmas, tzatziki, and baklava. Hey, you lika da sauce? Yeah, you lika da sauce!!!

The Bat City Bombshell's Pasties for Patriots Burlesque Show
(from the website - www.brownpapertickets.com - where you can buy tickets for $12, or more at the door)

Time to let freedom ring! Come by the SpiderHouse Ballroom on July 6th to watch the titillating Bat City Bombshells salute the armed forces. You are in for quite the delicacy as these ladies flash their red, white and blues. There will be flags! There will be liberty! AND there will be ...MORE FLAGS!

We are honored to share the stage this year with none-other than #5 of the top 50 Burlesque performers, the amazing Coco Lectric!

You will be teased, pleased and leave with more than just national pride. Soldiers, bring your military ID and you will receive a special hero rate and be sure to say "Hi" to the ladies.

If you don't know Coco Lectric, then just think- if you were a hacker, then you would want to meet Kevin Mitnick, a child would want to meet Iron Man, a christian wants to meet god. Now, I am not saying she is almighty, but in the burlesque world she is as close as us mere mortals will probably ever come to divinty.

So, venture out, taste the food, keep the Austin economy going, and enjoy the show.

The octopus balls were just so-so, the show was entertaining, and the friends as always were great to hangout with!

Since neither trailer is Gluten-Free friendly, we will be there after getting a gluten free bite or two and then onto the show!

That it will! I am a little excited and watching the clock tick by. Ok, so it is digital, but you get the idea.

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
