Deer Creek Canyon sequel - Meadowlark/ Red mesa loop Trails. Easy+

This is a good recovery hike after partying the night before at Q's. It is not a walk in the city park but it is an easy hike. You still need to be in good shape and if you have any physical conditions you may not be able to do the whole hike.

We will make it in two stages. Second one will be slightly more advanced. Trail system is easy to navigate in case somebody needs to turn back and find their way back to the parking lot.

We will probably not need snowshoes but microspikes are highly recommended .

What to bring

Water or fluids

Several layers of clothing, not just one big jacket

Hand and toe warmers - optional

Good hiking boots. Waterproof preferably

Wool socks and an extra pair as they may get wet

Gaiters - highly recommended

Poles - optional

Snowshoes - Most likely not needed. If you have them bring them. We'll leave them in the car if not needed

After hike shoes - optional

Car pool

Those interested in carpool can meet at 10:00 am at the aprés Hike place (Texas roadhouse) and leave to the trailhead by 10:10am. The trailhead has plenty of space too.

We will meet at the trailhead by 10:20 am start hiking at 10:30 am

Sorry, the snow is more than I anticipated. Too cold and wet for me. So, I will have to let this one pass.
