  • This location is shown only to members

From US 285 go past Aspen Park and the turnoff to Evergreen to exit for Foxton Road. Go under the highway overpass and head southeast down Kennedy Gulch/Foxton Road. Proceed 5.5 miles to the first (and larger) parking area on the right.

Let us hike up to Eagle's View via Oxen Draw since it is in the cooler valley and return by way of Ravens Roost Trail and complete the hike along the Hummingbird trail. All the trails are well-maintained by Jeffco Open Space. The views of the top extend over the South Platte Valley and on to Pikes Peak some forty miles to  the south.

Starting elevation: 7300 ft

Highest elevation: 8150 ft

Elevation gain: 1300 ft (ups and downs included)

Mileage: ~7.3 miles

Difficulty: moderate

Time on the trail:  ~3 hours

What to Bring:

As always, you are responsible for your own safety and well-being on this hike, but here is some suggested gear:

Good hiking boots

Traction devices as there may be residual snow/icy patches

I was at Reynolds park this past weekend. There were a few icy/slippery sections so you may want to bring your spikes.
