Evergreen Mountain Trail at Alderfer/Three Sisters Park

This will be a good hike for those looking to catch up on their fitness levels  It is also close to town and offers great scenery.

Difficulty: Moderate with some steepness
Length: 6 miles with parts that are loopy

Start: Around 7,400'

End: Around 8,600'

Overall gain: Approx.  1,200'

A good description of the hike;

http://funcoloradohikes.com/evergreen_mountain_trail.html

I will round everyone up and start about 9:10am. Any late people can run and catch up.  Please wait at trail intersections for a head count to make sure everyone is accounted for.

If someone decides to leave the group because it is too difficult or the group is too slow, please inform your Event Organizer first (me) so that they don't think you are lost.

Please remember the key is to have fun. In our moderate/intermediate hikes we aren't out to 'bag a peak', have a killer workout or whatever. Just to get outdoors and make friends

Please bring the usual 10 essentials and maybe hiking poles for the steep pieces.

The après hike will be at Beaujo's in Evergreen at approximately 2pm.

Cheers,

--Mikey

    Anyone want to car pool? We can meet at 7:30am at the SE corner of Quincy & C470, Home Depot parking lot, 4277 S Eldridge St, Morrison, CO. I have a silver 4-Runner. Lemme know!

    To find this on Google Maps, just type in;
    31677 Buffalo Park Rd, Evergreen, CO
    -The lot is about 100' north of where the marker is.
    Easy to see if you switch to satellite view.

    I will give out my number Saturday to those attending. I expect I should have cell coverage close to Evergreen.
    Due to the very close proximity to Denver, I am not posting carpool suggestions. Thanks, --Mikey

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
