This Saturday hike is being added if you couldn't make the Sunday hike or are on the waiting list. This is a great hike with Gibson Lake at the base of the summit. From reports there is a great trail to Gibson Lake and then pick your way to the summit. Most reports go to the right side of the lake and willows and keeps this a class 1 hike. This is approximately 6 miles round trip with an elevation gain of approximately 2755'. Review Sunday's hike info and the links below.
My suggestion for ales afterward is a small rest/bar in Bailey at the bottom of Crow Hill. Can't remember or find the name but it's a two story log building. But I'm open as to the location.
Our main goal/ mission is to explore as many wonderful hikes/ snowshoe trails, snowboarding, skiing, hut trips, camping, backpacking, spelunking, canyoneering, etc.,as well as general socializing, restaurants/pubs/taverns as possible in a safe and responsible manner, so that members can get a greater sense of all that Colorado has to offer and enjoy. Some of these we have experienced before, but many will be new to us as well.
