HIKE starting at The Swinging Bridge

Meet on the grass by PARKING LOT PAST THE SWINGING BRIDGE.  We can decide how long we want to walk.

I think it's only $2 per car on the off season? On weekends in the summer the Patapsco State Park entrance fee is $3 per person. Or $75 seasonal per car, good for all state parks.

Directions once you enter the park

The address (5120 South Street, Baltimore, MD 21227) gets you to the park entrance. After turning in the park entrance, please pay the $3 entrance fee at the booth. Continue straight ahead (for about 1.5 miles) and when you reach the intersection, take a left (there is not an option to go forward, you can only turn left or right). Follow the road TWO MILES to the  parking lot at the end of the road past the swinging bridge . Call me with any questions[masked] Rachel Swift.

We will hike about 4miles maybe.

Typically we are finish by 12:30-1pm.

You might get muddy on the trails, so dress accordingly.

Making hay while the sun shines. It's snowing now and will continue to snow into Monday but this morning's weather was perfect and we certainly were not going to squander it. Perfect weather, perfect trails, perfect people, perfect dogs.

No worries, mate. We can't hope to compete with Patapsco and the great leadership in Trails Tails & Ales :)
